On more than one occasion I have lost my sense of humor and have found myself searching the junk drawer in my kitchen looking for it. When I manage to find it it's all I need to get me through another day!

Having been raised in a step family and now raising one of her own many of her stories reflect the unique issues that come with living in a remarried household. But even the traditional family can find laughter and insight.
Life is never dull while managing her family along with her husband Mike. Her story "Indy and the Thong" recently published in Your Step Family Magazine really sums up what life is all about while trying to raise four girls; two from his, two from hers. Include the dog (a gift from his ex-wife), four hamsters, a rescued cat, and a fish named Bob and you have a lot mouths to feed and stories to tell.
Many of us have often thought to ourselves "what the heck did I sign up for?" Hopefully you will be entertained and even sometimes touched by my writing.
